37 Trillion Rial BOT Investment Agreement Signed for Oil Extraction Plant and Liquid Bulk Storage at Shahid Beheshti Port

chb bot Aiming to develop investment, create added value, and complete the chain of hinterland industries, an investment agreement for the construction and operation of an oil extraction plant and edible liquid bulk storage facility under the BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) model has been signed between the Ports and Maritime Directorate of Sistan and Baluchestan Province and a private company, valued at 37 trillion rials.

 the project's total investment amounts to 37 trillion rials, with construction operations scheduled to be completed within nine months.

Under the planned program, the facility will be built with an annual capacity of 600,000 tons for the oil extraction plant and 40,000 tons of storage capacity for edible liquid bulk tanks, with operations carried out under a BOT contract.

The project is expected to create direct employment for 60 people and indirect employment for 180 people, playing an effective role in the development of industrial and logistics activities at Shahid Beheshti Port.

The stated objectives of this investment include completing the production chain of edible liquid bulk goods, creating added value, developing hinterland industries, and increasing the commercial capacities of Shahid Beheshti Port in Chabahar.

With the commissioning of this project, Shahid Beheshti Port in Chabahar will take another significant step toward attracting private sector investment, developing port infrastructure, and becoming a regional hub for the production, processing, and distribution of essential goods.
